Job Description

Mechanic About the Opportunity If you're a hands-on mechanic who enjoys figuring out how things work (and how to fix them), this is your chance to join a team where your skills truly make a difference. In this role, you'll work on custom machines and rebuilt equipment, taking them apart, diagnosing issues, and bringing them back to life. Every day is different—you'll tackle unique projects, solve mechanical challenges, and help build reliable, high-performing machines from the ground up. What You'll Do Diagnose and troubleshoot machinery, identifying root causes of mechanical issues Perform full tear-downs and rebuilds of packaging and custom equipment Repair and restore machines to improve performance, safety, and reliability Assemble complex systems including mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical components Use a variety of hand and power tools to complete repairs and builds Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and measurements Support custom machine builds in a dynamic job shop environment Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life Collaborate with a skilled team, including a welder/fabricator, to complete projects efficiently What You Bring 2+ years of hands-on mechanical experience (maintenance, machine building, automotive, or fabrication) Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Comfort working with tools, machinery, and mechanical systems Ability to read tape measures and interpret basic blueprints or schematics Experience with mechanical repair, assembly, and maintenance Exposure to hydraulics, pneumatics, or electrical systems Ability to work independently and adapt to custom, one-off projects Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and stay active throughout the day

The environment is active and collaborative, giving you the opportunity to work closely with other skilled team members while taking ownership of your projects. Experience in assembly, blueprint reading, and mechanical repair. Knowledge of hydraulics, electrical systems, and pneumatics. Familiarity with welding, machine and electrical assembly, preventive maintenance, and schematic interpretation. Understanding of wiring and installation processes. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
