Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair, with the ability to work on a variety of vehicles, including mowers and heavy equipment. This role requires proficiency in using both hand and power tools, as well as knowledge of general vehicle systems. Duties Perform comprehensive automotive diagnostics to identify issues accurately. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for repairs and maintenance. Conduct routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections. Repair or replace faulty components such as HVAC systems, air brakes, and other mechanical parts. Solder electrical connections and suspend components securely during repairs. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols. Document all repairs and services performed on vehicles for record-keeping. Requirements Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics and repair techniques. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Valid driver's license is required.
