We are looking for a thorough Heavy Truck and Trailer Maintenance Technician. You will perform maintenance tasks of great variety such as brake and suspension repair, electrical repair, mechanical repair, etc. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously as well as integrate well into a team setting while responsibly observing all health and safety guidelines. The goal is to maintain and repair customer equipment in a quick and timely manner. Experience correlates to hourly rate. Responsibilities And Skills Diagnose and repair tank trailers. Certifications in heavy duty braking systems. Experience in heavy duty suspension repair and replacement. High school diploma or equivalent; Certificate from tech school a plus. Perform maintenance of electrical systems such as diagnosing short circuits, ABS faults, repairing wiring, and replacing lights. Proven experience as maintenance technician. Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems. Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods. Working knowledge of tools, common applications and devices such as the use of tablets, diagnosing software, and computers. Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills. Welding experience beneficial.
