In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of automotive systems, ensuring that every vehicle meets our high standards of quality and reliability. What you'll do Perform comprehensive automotive diagnostics to identify issues and recommend solutions. Execute repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems while adhering to safety protocols. Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire service, and alignment checks. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs and installations. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service requests. Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used for customer transparency. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance needs clearly to clients. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automotive technology. Basic qualifications Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair. Familiarity with automotive electrical systems and diagnostics. Preferred qualifications Dealership experience with a focus on GM vehicles. Proficiency in Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and diesel engine repair. Experience with air brake systems, schematics interpretation, powertrain components, alignment, suspension work, shocks & struts, brake repair, auto body repair, welding, and auto estimating.
