Job Description
Position Summary Ken's Oil is looking for a versatile, dependable driver based out of the Peoria/Washington/Eureka/Bloomington area to handle non-fuel deliveries and service work with the ability to step in as a backup fuel driver when needed. This role is a great fit for someone who likes variety in their day, takes pride in doing the job right, and wants steady local work with no long hauls or nights away from home. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing multiple priorities, working independently, and maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) are imperative Primary Responsibilities Deliver non-fuel products (e.g., lubricants, DEF, packaged goods, equipment/supplies) to customers throughout the service territory Diagnose and repair tank fuel pumps, replace hoses and nozzles, and build fuel tanks Operate a variety of company vehicles depending on the day's needs including a pickup with lift gate, tandem fuel tank wagon, DEF truck, and box truck Serve as a backup fuel delivery driver, hauling fuel in the tandem fuel tank wagon when the schedule requires it Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on all vehicles operated Follow all DOT and hazmat safety regulations Deliver excellent service and represent Ken's Oil Service with professionalism at every stop Qualifications Valid CDL-A license Tanker and hazmat endorsements preferred (we offer in-house training to help you obtain them) Clean driving record preferred Commitment to safety and reliability A team player who fits our family-first culture
Pay:
$22.00 - $24.00 per hourBenefits:
