Pay:

Paid time off Competitive wages Growth opportunities Quarterly safety bonus On-Call specialty pay Per diem This driver will transport, remove, deliver, and collect various liquid and solid hazardous wastes from various customer sites. Will be required to load and unload trucks. They will also have the ability to operate a variety of truck and equipment including vacuum trucks, box trucks, and any other equipment that fits their license on site if necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
Safety & Compliance:
Oversee safe cargo handling, load securing, and trip inspections. Comply with all DOT, safety, hazardous materials, and hours-of-service regulations.
Vehicle & Equipment Operation:
Safely maneuver, operate, and inspect trucks/equipment (e.g., vacuum trucks, box trucks) in loading and unloading areas.
Documentation & Reporting:
Accurately complete and maintain required logs, manifests, bills of lading, and driver logbooks. Promptly report defects, accidents, or delays.
Customer Service & Loading:
Load, deliver, and unload materials cleanly and punctually while maintaining professional communication with customers, co-workers, and supervisors.
Team Support:
Train co-workers as needed and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Valid CDL A with airbrakes
  • Hazmat Endorsement Required
  • Tanker Endorsement Required
  • No auto restriction, must be able to operate manual
  • Overtime as required.
  • Weekend work may be required, on call schedule in effect on weekly basis.
  • Ability to travel in Illinois and surrounding states when needed

  • Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to perform routine vehicle maintenance.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills with strong oral and written communication abilities.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities with task prioritization, multi-tasking, use of timelines and time management techniques.

  • Strong work ethic.
  • Professional/mature demeanor under stressful situations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confident, consistent decisive personality.
  • Will be required to work both indoors and outdoors.
  • Manual dexterity, ability to lift 75+ lbs required.
