The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair and diagnostics, with hands-on experience in a dealership or service environment. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair services on various vehicles, ensuring customer satisfaction through quality workmanship and excellent service. Responsibilities Conduct thorough vehicle inspections accurately. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire services, and alignments. Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair automotive systems effectively. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs. Assist in sales by recommending additional services based on vehicle condition and customer requirements. Engage in heavy lifting as required during repairs or maintenance tasks. Skills Previous experience and/or technical school is preferred. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Ability to perform vehicle maintenance tasks, including oil changes, alignments, and tire services. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Previous experience as a Service Technician is highly desirable. Capability to perform heavy lifting as needed for various automotive tasks.
