We offer the opportunity to earn while you learn. We will coordinate hours if you are in school. SUMMARY Inspect, maintain, and repair automobiles. Execute basic maintenance like tire rotations and oil changes, diagnose problems and recommend maintenance repairs. Perform repairs correctly the first time. Assist Service Advisor in test-driving vehicles if necessary, and testing components and systems. You will learn how to use diagnostic tools and special Toyota service equipment Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs In time, executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications with proper time and training provided on the job. Qualifications Technical degree preferred Working on ASE certifications preferred Minimum of 1 year in service department or recent graduate from Automotive Training School. High School Diploma or GED Ability to identify automotive problems quickly Effective analytical and communication skills Good reading, computer, and mathematics skills Ability to learn new technology, repair procedures and specifications Should be able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment with training on the job Ability to lift 40 pounds Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Basic Computer Skills Positive, friendly attitude We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
