Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Automotive Technician to join our service team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles with enthusiasm and precision. Your expertise will ensure our customers receive top-quality service, keeping their vehicles running smoothly and safely. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse automotive systems, including powertrains, electrical components, and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS). Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostics tools and schematics to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and powertrains. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive repair tools to complete maintenance tasks efficiently. Service vehicles by performing oil changes, brake repairs, wheel alignments, tire rotations, and other routine maintenance procedures. Repair or replace ADAS components such as cameras and sensors to ensure advanced safety features operate correctly. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical problems effectively. Maintain detailed service records, update auto estimating systems, and communicate repair progress clearly with customers. Experience Proven dealership experience or service technician experience working on a variety of vehicle makes and models. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance. Familiarity with automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostics tools such as OEM scan tools. Experience working on GM vehicles or diesel engines is a plus but not required. Knowledge of ADAS technology, wheel alignment procedures, and transmission repairs is highly desirable. Ability to work efficiently with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive maintenance tools.
