Competitive Base Pay + Commission + Benefits Overview A thriving, family-owned powerhouse independent automotive repair shop in Oswego, IL is looking for a driven and customer-focused Service Advisor to join the team. This is a high-volume, high-energy shop with a strong reputation in the community and a loyal customer base. If you're someone who knows how to build trust, close work, and keep customers coming back, this is a shop where you can make serious money and grow long-term. Key Responsibilities Greet customers and manage the service experience from check-in through vehicle delivery. Write and manage repair orders, present recommendations, and provide accurate estimates. Build strong customer relationships through transparency, communication, and follow-through. Work closely with technicians to ensure efficient workflow and timely repairs. Track approvals, follow up consistently, and hit daily and monthly sales goals. Maintain high CSI while driving strong ARO and overall shop performance. Keep the front end organized, professional, and running smoothly. Qualifications 2+ years of experience as an Automotive Service Advisor (independent shop preferred). Strong sales ability with a customer-first approach. Solid understanding of automotive systems across domestic and import vehicles. Experience with shop management systems (Tekmetric, RO Writer, Mitchell, etc.). Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Team-oriented, dependable, and motivated to earn. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.  Compensation & Benefits Competitive base pay plus aggressive commission structure. Full benefits package (health, dental, vision, retirement).
