Job Summary Join our dynamic automotive team as a Lube Technician, where your enthusiasm for vehicle maintenance and mechanical skills will keep our customers' vehicles running smoothly and efficiently. In this energetic role, you will perform essential lubrication services, assist with vehicle inspections, and support various maintenance tasks that ensure safety and optimal performance. Your proactive attitude and attention to detail will contribute to a positive customer experience and the overall success of our service department. Duties Conduct oil changes using hand tools and power tools, ensuring proper procedures are followed for different vehicle types. Perform tire rotations, alignments, and tire service to maintain vehicle safety and handling. Assist with basic automotive diagnostics to identify issues related to vehicle performance or mechanical problems. Support vehicle maintenance tasks such as fluid top-offs, filter replacements, and light mechanical repairs under supervision. Use mechanical knowledge to inspect vehicles for wear and tear, noting necessary repairs or services needed. Maintain cleanliness of work area, tools, and equipment to uphold safety standards and efficiency. Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and recommending additional maintenance when appropriate. Skills Previous dealership experience or automotive repair background highly preferred. Strong mechanic experience with a solid understanding of automotive diagnostics and mechanical systems. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures including oil changes, alignments, tire service, and basic repairs. Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude.
