About Us Car Clinic is a full-service automotive repair shop in Westchester, IL. We're known for honest, quality work and have built a loyal customer base in the community. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a highly skilled, experienced mechanic who can handle it all — from routine maintenance to full engine and transmission rebuilds. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues across a wide range of makes and models Perform oil changes, brake service, tire rotations, and routine maintenance Conduct full engine rebuilds and transmission rebuilds Perform suspension, steering, exhaust, and electrical repairs Handle all aspects of vehicle repair from minor to major Communicate repair findings clearly to management and customers Complete repair orders and document all work accurately Maintain a clean, organized bay and follow all safety protocols Requirements 2+ years of hands-on automotive mechanic experience required — must be able to handle all aspects of vehicle repair Full engine and transmission rebuild experience required Ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle makes and models ASE certification preferred but not required Must have own basic tools Valid driver's license required Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision Schedule Monday•Saturday Full-Time Compensation $1,000•$2,000 per week depending on experience and productivity
