Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic automotive team as a Lube Technician, where your enthusiasm for vehicle maintenance and mechanical skills will keep our customers' vehicles running smoothly and safely. In this energetic role, you'll perform essential lubrication services, assist with vehicle inspections, and support the overall maintenance process. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help ensure every vehicle leaves our service center in top condition. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to develop your automotive expertise while delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Duties Conduct oil changes efficiently using a variety of hand tools and power tools, ensuring all manufacturer specifications are met. Perform tire rotations, alignments, and tire service to optimize vehicle safety and performance. Assist with basic vehicle inspections, checking fluid levels, brakes, belts, and other key components. Support automotive diagnostics to identify issues accurately and recommend appropriate repairs or maintenance. Use mechanical knowledge to assist senior technicians with repairs and routine maintenance tasks. Maintain cleanliness of work area and ensure all tools and equipment are properly stored after use. Engage with customers professionally, explaining services performed and recommending additional maintenance or repairs when appropriate. Skills Proven dealership or automotive repair experience with a strong foundation in vehicle maintenance. Hands-on mechanic experience with automotive diagnostics and troubleshooting techniques. Mechanical knowledge of various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while handling tires, batteries, or other heavy components. Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients about their vehicle needs. Service technician experience is preferred; a strong work ethic combined with mechanical aptitude is essential for success in this role.
Pay:
