Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Builder / Assembly Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for assembling, inspecting, and preparing new Polaris and Can-Am off-road vehicles for customer delivery. The ideal candidate takes pride in producing high-quality work, follows manufacturer specifications, and enjoys working in a fast-paced powersports environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assemble new Polaris and Can-Am off-road vehicles according to manufacturer specifications and assembly procedures. Perform Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) to ensure vehicles meet quality and safety standards. Install OEM accessories and customer-requested upgrades. Inspect completed vehicles for proper operation, fit, finish, and overall quality. Diagnose and correct assembly issues prior to delivery. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Properly use and maintain hand tools, power tools, torque wrenches, and shop equipment. Follow all company safety policies and manufacturer guidelines. Accurately complete required assembly and inspection documentation. Work collaboratively with the service, parts, and sales departments to ensure timely vehicle delivery. Assist with moving, staging, and organizing vehicles within the dealership as needed. Perform additional shop-related duties as assigned. Qualifications and Skills High school diploma or equivalent. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to safely use hand and power tools. Physical stamina and manual dexterity to handle various tools, equipment, and vehicle components. Ability to read and follow manufacturer assembly instructions and service documentation. Willingness to learn and stay up to date on new vehicle models, technologies, and manufacturer procedures. Previous powersports, automotive, agricultural equipment, or mechanical assembly experience is preferred but not required. Working Conditions Work is performed primarily in a repair workshop or dealership service environment. Regular standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting throughout the workday. Must be able to lift and move heavy parts and equipment. Work hours may include evenings and weekends based on business needs. Pay and Benefits Starting pay is $16.00 per hour minimum , with higher compensation based on experience, qualifications, and mechanical skill level.
