Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive service and repair, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves diagnosing and repairing various vehicle issues, ensuring that all work meets industry standards and customer expectations. Duties Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles, including but not limited to oil changes, brake replacements, and engine diagnostics. Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to carry out repairs and maintenance tasks. Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate testing equipment and techniques. Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential problems before they escalate. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about their vehicle's condition and necessary repairs. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Stay updated on the latest automotive technology and repair techniques through continuous learning and training. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery. Requirements Proven experience in automotive repair, with a strong understanding of mechanical knowledge related to vehicles. Proficiency in diesel engine repair is highly desirable. Familiarity with dealership operations is a plus. Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs. Experience using various power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently. Ability to perform vehicle maintenance tasks independently as well as part of a team. Welding skills are an advantage but not mandatory. A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications in automotive technology are preferred.
