Job Summary:
We are seeking a Trailer Mechanic to join our team at our Edgerton, KS location! This position is responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on trailers including brakes, suspension systems, tires, and more. This is a 1st shift position, typically working the hours of Monday-Friday from 8:30am-5:00pm. Overtime opportunities may be available based on the business needs of the shop.
Trailer Mechanic Duties:
Complete repairs on chassis using MIG and stick welding Inspect and repair lights, brakes, suspension, and frames on chassis Mount tires onto chassis Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with chassis Maintain accurate records of work performed on equipment in TMW software Cross-training opportunity available in terminals operations and terminals office Other duties as assigned
