Job Description

A General Service Technician (GS) is primarily responsible for performing routine vehicle maintenance tasks like oil changes, tire rotations, fluid level checks, and minor repairs, focusing on lubricating a vehicle's engine components while also inspecting for potential issues and providing basic customer service; this role often requires physical ability to work under a vehicle and handle various tools and fluids, demanding attention to detail and basic mechanical knowledge. Key responsibilities of a
GS:
Oil changes: Draining old engine oil and replacing it with new oil according to manufacturer specifications.
Fluid level checks:
Monitoring and topping off other fluids like brake fluid, power steering fluid, and windshield washer fluid.
Tire rotations:
