About Us:
Join our dynamic team at Keeton Auto Repair, a leader in automotive repair and maintenance. We are dedicated to delivering top-quality service and ensuring customer satisfaction at every step. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a detail-oriented Automotive Repair Quality Control Technician to help maintain our high standards.
Purpose & Objective:
As an Automotive Repair Quality Control Technician at Keeton Auto Repair, you will ensure that every customer's vehicle leaves our shop in top condition—cleaner than when it arrived and with all requested work completed with precision. You'll play a key role in upholding our shop's standards of cleanliness, organization, and safety while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform the shop's Quality Control Inspection process and complete a Mini-Clean on all serviced or repaired vehicles to guarantee customer satisfaction.
This includes:
  • Inspect completed repairs for quality, accuracy, and safety in accordance with industry and company standards
  • Test-drive vehicles to verify repairs
  • Document findings and collaborate with technicians to correct deficiencies Keep the shop clean and stocked, including cleaning and stocking bathrooms/locker rooms, maintaining clean and debris-free shop floors, and regularly inspecting exterior grounds.
Carry out specific repairs and services on customer vehicles with attention to detail and excellence, as directed by the Shop Foreman or Manager.
Secondary Responsibilities:
Drive company vehicles to pick up parts and shuttle customers as needed. Assist with the rental car fleet to ensure vehicles are clean and ready for rental. Take on additional duties as required by the needs of the business.
Qualifications & Skills:
Able to enter/exit vehicles and operate them safely (must have a valid US driver's license with a clean driving record). Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing physical shop tasks (sweeping, cleaning, using tools, reaching, etc.). Competent with basic reading, writing, math, and computer tasks in English. Ability to perform both major and fine motor skills for repairs and shop tasks. High school diploma or equivalent Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to communicate effectively with team members at all levels
