The Fleet Wash Technician is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the appearance of company trucks and fleet vehicles at the company's truck shop. This position ensures vehicles are washed efficiently, safely, and to company standards while helping maintain a clean and organized work area. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Wash and clean company trucks, trailers, and fleet vehicles on-site using pressure washers, brushes, and approved cleaning products. Remove dirt, mud, grease, road grime, and other debris from vehicle exteriors. Clean wheels, tires, mirrors, windows, and other exterior components. Inspect vehicles for any visible damage or maintenance concerns and report findings to the shop supervisor. Maintain wash equipment and ensure all tools are in proper working condition. Keep the wash bay and surrounding work area clean, organized, and free of hazards. Follow all company safety policies and environmental procedures regarding water usage and chemical handling. Assist with other shop or yard duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous vehicle washing, detailing, or general labor experience is a plus but not required. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work, including standing, bending, reaching, and walking for extended periods. Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work. Working Conditions Primarily works outdoors and in a truck shop environment. Exposure to water, cleaning chemicals, noise, and varying weather conditions. Requires frequent standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive motion throughout the workday.
