We sell and service electric and gas golf cars, and mowers/turf equipment. Ideally this mechanic would also be able as a backup to drive to job sites and make repairs onsite. Clean driving record a must. The position is a full time position that will require some Saturdays from February through October. Responsibilities and Duties Troubleshoot and repair small engines, general mowing equipment, and hydraulics either in the shop or at a customers location. Must have ability to tear down engine to identify failure and repair as needed. Perform preventative maintenance. Complete paperwork for work orders in a timely and accurate manner. Assemble products, detail equipment. May be required to occasionally deliver or pick up equipment in a safe and responsible manner. Qualifications and Skills Proven history as mechanic. Job requires sitting, standing, walking, stooping, crouching, kneeling, laying on the floor, and the use of hands to service equipment. Will be required to work in a shop environment that is climate controlled. Will be required to be physically active with the ability to deal with extreme weather conditions. Must be able to frequently lift 75 lbs. Must be able to understand instructions and communicate (read/write) in English. Must have a valid drivers license. Must have good problem solving skills.
