JOB DESCRIPTION

Slusser Automotive is looking for a skilled automotive technician to maintain and repair vehicles. You will be the one to ensure the vehicles are fixed and functional by fixing issues that may occur. As a technician, you must be highly skilled in the field with great attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have an advanced knowledge of mechanics and be able to work in a timely manner. We want you to be passionate about helping customers with their automotive needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Repair or replace electrical wiring or control circuits in vehicle instrumentation or electrical systems. Adjust or fix vehicle suspension, steering, braking systems or transmission. Remove and replace interior and exterior components including suspension or steering assemblies, brake shoes, exhaust system etc. Install new electrical wiring or control circuits in vehicle instrumentation or electrical systems. Conduct tests or repairs according to instructions on the wall or written instructions Ensure all safety requirements are followed at all times.

REQUIREMENTS

Advanced knowledge of automotive mechanics and advanced understanding of vehicle systems and components. Ability to follow processes and procedures with attention to detail. A team player who is highly motivated, organized and punctual. Excellent physical condition and stamina (upright position for long hours on your feet) and able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly. High school diploma; Certification from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship is a plus. Valid Wichita, KS Driver's License with a clean driving record.
