Job Description
Automotive Technician / Automotive Mechanic (Elizabethtown, KY) Hourly pay based on experience full-time Atlas Cars is a trusted name in Hardin County for over 40 years. We are known for our commitment to quality, customer service and a job well done. We are growing and looking for a skilled mechanic to join our team to help keep our customers safely on the road.
Job Responsibilities:
- Inspect Vehicles for Safety, Reliability and Drivability prior to Sale
- Diagnose and repair vehicle issues, including engines, transmissions, brakes, front ends, cooling systems, component swaps and electrical systems.
- Perform routine maintenance services like oil changes, mount and balance tires and tune ups.
- Use diagnostic tools and follow repair procedures accurately.
- Communicate clearly with team members and keep accurate records of work performed.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
- 21 years of age with a valid drivers license and clean driving record.
- Own and supply your own tools.
- Proven experience as an automotive mechanic with at least 2 years experience.
- Familiarity with a variety of makes and models
