Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing facility as a skilled Mechanic, where your expertise will keep our operations running smoothly and efficiently. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of industrial equipment and machinery. Your technical proficiency and proactive approach will ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance across our production lines. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulics, pneumatic systems, and electrical components. Utilize schematics, technical manuals, and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to diagnose issues accurately. Conduct troubleshooting using precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools to identify faults in electrical and mechanical systems. Repair or replace components involving welding, low voltage circuits, and hydraulic assemblies. Operate field service equipment such as scissor lifts and forklifts safely to access elevated or hard-to-reach machinery. Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime during maintenance activities while ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed. Maintain detailed maintenance logs and documentation to track equipment history and facilitate analysis for continuous improvement. Experience Proven industrial mechanic experience within a manufacturing facility environment. Strong electrical experience with knowledge of industrial electrician practices, high voltage, low voltage systems, and schematics interpretation. Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), HVAC/R systems, and industrial maintenance procedures. Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management and asset tracking. Demonstrated ability to use precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools effectively. Knowledge of welding techniques specific to <
