In this role, you'll handle routine maintenance and safety inspections—such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements—that help our customers keep their vehicles running smoothly. This position is ideal for someone looking to build their skills and advance toward becoming a certified automotive technician. Responsibilities Perform oil and filter changes with accuracy and efficiency Rotate, mount, and balance tires Conduct multi-point inspections and identify potential issues Replace air, cabin, and fuel filters as needed Operate diagnostic tools, power tools, and hand tools safely Test-drive vehicles when necessary to confirm repair quality Report worn or damaged parts and maintenance concerns to supervisors Follow manufacturer specifications and dealership safety standards Keep work areas organized and clean Qualifications At least 1 year of experience in an automotive service environment Ford or Lincoln experience preferred High school diploma or GED required; technical training a plus ASE certifications preferred but not required Basic computer literacy and familiarity with repair order systems Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods Detail-oriented with solid mechanical skills Strong communication and teamwork abilities Eagerness to learn and grow within the dealership Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid holidays and time off Employee discounts on services and purchases Ongoing paid training and advancement opportunities Supportive, family-oriented workplace culture Courtesy Lincoln is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering diversity and inclusion.
