Job Description
Medium/Heavy Duty Truck Technician earn up to $1,662.50 w/ OT WEEKLY Join SAVARD Personnel Group - where your skills are valued! We are looking for a skilled technician with strong diesel engine diagnostic and repair experience to join a professional truck service team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing medium/heavy-duty vehicles and be comfortable working with a variety of mechanical and electrical systems.
Strong hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and truck systems.
Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues and perform necessary repairs.
Experience with preventive maintenance and vehicle inspections.
Ability to accurately document completed work and communicate additional repair needs.
Ability to safely operate vehicle lifts and a small jib winch.
Valid driver's license and ability to road-test vehicles when required.
Ability to safely operate tools and equipment and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Ability to read and understand repair, maintenance, and safety instructions.
ASE Medium/Heavy Truck certifications preferred.
Must follow dealership, manufacturer, OSHA, and other applicable safety requirements.
