Overview Join our dynamic automotive team as an Automotive Paint Prep Technician and become a vital part of transforming vehicles into works of art! In this energetic role, you will prepare vehicles for painting by meticulously sanding, masking, and priming surfaces to ensure flawless finishes. Responsibilities Include:
Vehicle washing and final cleaning before paint Sanding, feather-edging, and surface preparation Masking vehicles and parts for paint application Priming and minor refinishing preparation Maintaining a clean and organized work area Assisting painters and collision technicians as needed
Qualifications:
Prior hands-on work in auto body repair shops is highly desirable Minimum 1 year of automotive paint prep experience Knowledge of auto painting procedures and detailing techniques Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work efficiently in physically demanding work environment. Strong work ethic and reliability Attention to quality and detail Valid driver's license required Desire to learn, grow, and advance into an automotive painter role
Pay:
$18.00 - $26.00 per hour
