  • B to join our growing team in the Boston, Massachusetts area.
This position is ideal for a mechanically skilled technician with 4+ years of automotive repair experience, particularly experience working on European vehicles. Our company is introducing a specialized engine restoration process to the automotive industry. We are looking for an open-minded technician who is comfortable handling a variety of mechanical repairs and is willing to learn a new process. Training on our specialized engine restoration process will be provided. This is an hourly position paying $30 per hour , with additional company performance-based bonus opportunities . Responsibilities Perform a variety of mechanical repairs and maintenance on passenger vehicles. Diagnose and identify mechanical issues and clearly communicate findings to the team. Perform engine-related repairs and mechanical work as needed. Perform timing repairs and timing-related work. Perform valve stem seal replacement. Handle a variety of repairs that may arise during vehicle service. Assist with vehicles undergoing our specialized engine restoration process. Follow established repair procedures and maintain a high standard of workmanship. Communicate any vehicle issues or repair recommendations clearly to the team so they can be properly explained to customers. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Work independently when appropriate while also collaborating with the team. Experience and Qualifications 4+ years of professional automotive repair experience. Experience working on European vehicles strongly preferred. Volkswagen and Audi experience strongly preferred. Demonstrated ability to perform a variety of mechanical repairs. Must be capable of performing valve stem seal replacement . Must have experience with timing repairs and timing-related work . Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on repair skills. Ability to identify and communicate mechanical issues clearly to the team. Willingness to learn new repair processes and techniques. Open-minded approach to new automotive technology and processes. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Professional attitude and commitment to quality workmanship. About the Position This is not a traditional dealership environment. We are building a growing automotive business around a specialized engine restoration process designed to provide customers with an alternative to expensive engine overhauls. The technician in this position will play an important role as we establish our physical location in Massachusetts. While our specialized treatment process will be taught to the technician, we are looking for someone who already has a strong mechanical foundation and can handle the majority of general repair needs that arise. Advanced diagnostic experience is not our primary requirement. We can provide training on our diagnostic process. What matters most is strong mechanical ability, hands-on repair experience, and the willingness to learn.
