- Full-time Role Description Village European is looking for a full-time Senior European Automotive Technician / Mechanic to join our team on-site in Concord, MA.
Responsibilities include:
Performing advanced mechanical, electrical, and drivability diagnosis Completing complex repairs accurately and efficiently Performing routine maintenance, inspections, fluid services, brake work, suspension repairs, and other general repair work Working on powertrain, braking, steering, suspension, HVAC, and electrical systems Using diagnostic equipment, repair information systems, and technical manuals to identify vehicle issues Communicating clearly with service writers/advisors about findings, recommendations, and repair progress Providing clear technical notes and documentation in the shop management system Assisting and mentoring junior technicians when needed Performing final quality checks on complex jobs Maintaining a clean, organized, and professional workspace Following shop procedures and safety standardsQualifications:
7-10+ years of automotive repair experience preferred European vehicle experience strongly preferred Strong diagnostic and problem-solving ability Experience with mechanical, electrical, drivability, braking, suspension, steering, HVAC, and powertrain systems Ability to use diagnostic tools, repair software, service manuals, and technical information effectively Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to communicate clearly with service advisors, management, and other technicians Reliable, professional, punctual, and able to work well with a team Valid driver's license required ASE certifications, manufacturer-specific certifications, or equivalent experience are a plus Willingness to continue learning and stay current with modern automotive technology High school diploma, or higher degree required.What we offer:
