In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking automotive services. You will utilize your mechanical knowledge and expertise in auto service management to assess customer needs, provide accurate estimates, and ensure a seamless service experience. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage service writing will be essential in fostering customer relationships and driving sales. Ford experience preferred but not required. Our ideal candidate will have excellent service skills. Reynolds experience a HUGE plus. $5,000 For an experienced, qualified individual. See the Fixed Operations Director for complete details. Responsibilities Greet customers promptly and professionally upon arrival. Assess customer vehicle issues by listening to their concerns and performing initial evaluations. Provide detailed explanations of services needed, including mechanical repairs, maintenance, and auto body repairs. Prepare accurate service estimates based on vehicle assessments and customer needs. Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of services while maintaining high-quality standards. Maintain clear communication with customers throughout the service process, updating them on progress and any additional findings. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Promote additional services or products that may benefit the customer's vehicle maintenance needs. Keep detailed records of customer interactions, service history, and follow-up actions. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge to understand vehicle systems and issues. Experience in auto service management to oversee service operations effectively. Familiarity with auto body repair processes is a plus. Knowledge of shocks, struts, and other suspension components is beneficial. Proficiency in service writing to document customer requests accurately. Sales skills to promote services effectively while maintaining a customer-first approach. Cash handling experience for processing payments securely. Ability to perform auto estimating for accurate service quotes. Commitment to providing exceptional vehicle maintenance advice and solutions.
