Certified Hyundai Automotive Technician

MetroWest Hyundai and Genesis of Framingham has an immediate opening for Hyundai and/or certified Automotive Service Technician. The Technician position will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing client and dealership vehicles with integrity and ethics, and maintaining a positive relationship with clients who return with unsatisfactory work in accordance with dealership policies and standards. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following, Performing vehicle repair and/or maintenance work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards to drive customer loyalty. Communicating with Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to effectively manage production and customer communication. Diagnose the cause of any malfunction and perform repairs, if authorized by the customer. Conducting multi-point inspections to make appropriate recommendations to ensure safety and reliability of customer vehicles. Documenting work performed on each vehicle on the repair order. Keeping abreast of factory technical bulletins and participating in factory-sponsored training classes as appropriate. Road-test to confirm problems were resolved and the vehicle's operation will meet or exceed customer expectations. Maintain an organized and neat workstation. Qualifications Hyundai and/or Kia Certified preferred. Organization and follow-up skills Demonstrated customer service skills. Knowledge of the automotive repair life cycle Ability to operate an automobile, including manual transmission vehicles. Valid in-state driver's license, and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record.
