In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact between customers and our service department, ensuring a seamless experience from vehicle drop-off to pick-up. Your expertise will help customers understand their vehicle's needs, recommend appropriate services, and facilitate efficient communication with our skilled technicians. Duties Greet customers warmly and listen carefully to their vehicle concerns to accurately document service requests Explain repair and maintenance procedures clearly, ensuring customers understand their options and costs Write detailed service estimates using auto estimating software, including labor, parts, and additional repairs needed Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs such as oil changes, brake repairs, transmission work, suspension, alignments, tire services, diesel engine repairs, shocks & struts, air brake systems, and auto body repairs Upsell additional services by highlighting benefits that enhance vehicle performance and safety while maintaining transparency Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently at the point of sale Maintain organized records of all service orders, customer interactions, and repair histories for future reference Skills Proven dealership experience with a strong understanding of automotive diagnostics and repair procedures Extensive knowledge of automotive systems including transmissions, oil changes, brake systems, suspensions, alignments, tire services, diesel engines, shocks & struts, air brakes, and auto body repair Excellent mechanical knowledge combined with experience in automotive repair and service writing Skilled in auto estimating software and sales techniques to promote additional services effectively Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining a friendly demeanor Prior experience in auto service management or dealership environments is highly preferred Familiarity with mechanic work or service technician roles enhances understanding of technician needs and processes Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering top-tier automotive care while providing outstanding customer experiences.
