Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an Automotive Mechanic, where your expertise will drive vehicle performance and safety! In this energetic role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles, ensuring they operate at peak efficiency. Your mechanical skills and attention to detail will contribute to delivering exceptional automotive service, keeping customers satisfied and vehicles running smoothly. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive electrical systems and schematics to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain various mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components. Conduct oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and vehicle maintenance to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy equipment mechanics techniques to execute repairs efficiently. Work with automotive diagnostics tools to troubleshoot complex problems in diesel engines, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), and auto electrical systems. Follow dealership procedures for auto body repairs and auto estimating processes when necessary. Maintain detailed service records and communicate effectively with customers about repair needs and vehicle status. Qualifications Proven experience working as an automotive mechanic within the automotive repair industry; dealership experience is highly preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems including powertrain, transmissions, suspension systems, brakes, and diesel engines. Proficiency in reading schematics and technical manuals for accurate repairs. Hands-on experience with ADAS calibration, air brake systems, wheel alignments, tire service, shocks & struts replacement. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical repair tools safely and effectively. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients. Knowledge of heavy equipment mechanics or auto body repair is a plus but not required.
