Job Description
Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Master Technician to join our dynamic automotive service team. In this role, you will leverage your extensive mechanical expertise to diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicle systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety for our customers. As a key contributor to our service excellence, you will work with advanced diagnostic tools and technical schematics, providing expert solutions for complex automotive issues. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately and efficiently. Repair and overhaul mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, powertrains, suspension systems, brakes, shocks & struts, and diesel engines. Conduct specialized repairs such as ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), air brake systems, wheel alignments, tire services, and auto body repairs when necessary. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and mechanical knowledge to execute repairs with precision. Maintain detailed service records and communicate repair findings clearly to customers while providing exceptional customer service throughout the process. Follow safety protocols and ensure all work meets industry standards and manufacturer specifications. Assist in training junior technicians and contribute to a collaborative team environment focused on continuous improvement. Qualifications Proven dealership experience or extensive background in automotive repair industry with a focus on light and heavy-duty vehicles. Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostics tools. Expertise in diesel engine repair, transmission repair, automotive suspension system repair, brake repair, oil changes, wheel alignments, and powertrain maintenance. Hands-on experience working with GM vehicles or similar brands is preferred but not required. Proficiency with mechanical systems repair including shocks & struts, auto body work, auto estimating, and welding techniques. Familiarity with heavy equipment mechanics and automotive electrical systems is advantageous. Ability to work efficiently with hand tools, power tools, and mechanical repair equipment in a fast-paced environment. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with strong customer service abilities.
