Job Description
Service Advisor Salary:
$60,000-$100,000 per year Route 24 Auto Group is looking for an experienced, customer-focused Service Advisor to join our team. The Service Advisor is a key part of the customer experience, helping customers understand their vehicle's service needs while recommending maintenance and repairs that keep their vehicles safe and reliable. What You'll Do Greet customers, schedule appointments, and accurately document vehicle concerns. Perform a thorough vehicle walk-around with each customer. Review service history and recommend needed maintenance and repairs. Clearly explain recommended services, repair costs, and timelines. Prepare accurate estimates and obtain customer authorization before work begins. Monitor repairs and keep customers updated throughout the service process. Review and close repair orders accurately and professionally. Perform quality-control checks to help prevent comebacks and ensure customer concerns are addressed. Communicate with customers by phone and email regarding appointments, repairs, and follow-up. Provide exceptional customer service while building trust and long-term relationships. What We're Looking For Previous automotive service advisor experience preferred. Strong knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair. Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills. Ability to explain technical information clearly and professionally. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple repair orders. Valid driver's license and ability to be insured by the company. Willingness to complete and maintain required manufacturer training and certifications.
