Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced automotive technician to join a high-performing service team. This role is ideal for a professional who takes pride in delivering accurate diagnostics, quality repairs, and exceptional customer service in a fast-paced shop environment. What You Will Do Perform diagnostic, maintenance, and repair work on a variety of vehicles with a focus on General Motors systems and technology. Accurately inspect, troubleshoot, and resolve mechanical and electrical issues. Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship and safety. Use factory-level service information, diagnostic equipment, and repair procedures to identify root causes. Communicate findings, recommended repairs, and completion status clearly to service advisors and team members. Document all work performed in accordance with shop and manufacturer standards. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area. Support team productivity and contribute to a positive, customer-focused shop culture. What We Are Looking For Proven experience as an automotive technician with strong diagnostic and repair skills. GM certification or equivalent manufacturer training preferred or required, depending on shop needs. Ability to work confidently with engine, electrical, brake, suspension, HVAC, and drivability systems. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality repairs. Ability to use scan tools, diagnostic software, and technical repair information. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Valid driver's license and a safe driving record may be required. ASE certifications are a plus. Compensation and Benefits Competitive flat-rate pay of $65.00 per flat rate hour , plus bonus opportunities.($170k potential) Potential for strong earnings based on productivity and performance.
