In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and service a wide range of vehicles, ensuring safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on various vehicle components including engines, transmissions, powertrains, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and steering systems. Execute routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, wheel alignments, and tire service to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Repair and replace critical systems like ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), air brakes, and other electronic safety features. Utilize hand tools and power tools skillfully to disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle parts with precision. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical and mechanical problems effectively. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring work meets safety standards and quality expectations. Qualifications Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in automotive repair; dealership experience is highly preferred. Knowledge of automotive diagnostics software and schematics for efficient troubleshooting. Experience working on GM vehicles or similar makes is a plus. Skilled in diesel engine repair, auto body repair, welding, and general maintenance tasks. Familiarity with automotive electrical systems, powertrain components, transmissions, and suspension systems. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive repair tools safely and effectively. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose issues quickly. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
