Changing the way we all think about car buying is just the beginning. Role Summary Ourisman Automotive Group is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Service Technician to join our team. The Service Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles, ensuring that our customers receive safe and reliable service. More about the role Perform accurate diagnostics on vehicles to identify mechanical and electrical issues and carry out necessary repairs. Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks. Test drive vehicles and utilize diagnostic tools to ensure repairs are completed successfully and to manufacturer standards. Maintain detailed records of all work performed, parts used, and services recommended. Work closely with Service Advisors and other technicians to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction. Occasionally communicate with customers to explain repairs and maintenance needs. What we look for At least 3 years of previous experience as an automotive technician or mechanic in a dealership enviroment. Applicable certifications and technical trainings. Proficiency with diagnostic tools, repair equipment, and technical manuals. Strong analytical skills to diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues. Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting heavy parts and standing for extended periods. Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally.
