Bob Davidson Ford Lincoln is looking for a pre-delivery inspection technician for our busy shop. Previous experience is helpful, but not necessary. We will train a motivated individual who is looking to start on a path to a rewarding career in the automotive industry. Some tools may be required to start. Hourly pay depending on experience with performance based incentives. Job Summary Perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards Perform vehicle inspections on vehicles off-loaded from car carrier Document and report vehicle condition and any damage to management immediately Perform manufacturer pre-delivery inspection according to procedures Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing technology Inspect and test new vehicles and record findings so that necessary repairs can be made Job Requirements Able to work outside in all weather conditions Able to stand for long periods of time Able to multi-task and adapt to changing conditions Good driving record required Valid driver's license required Strong attention to detail Drug and background check required Monday through
