MECHANIC

Role:
Develops oversees and performs a scheduled preventive maintenance program on all equipment within the entire Hospital facilities to insure safety. reliability, and compliance with established requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Establishes preventative maintenance program for new equipment and modifies when equipment has been discontinued. Schedules all preventative maintenance. Oversees record keeping and reporting of the information pertaining to all equipment for entire preventative maintenance program. Performs the general maintenance mechanic functions and all related duties. Inspects areas of responsibility during performance of duties and identifies issues to the appropriate person. Signs and fills out work tickets completely and turns in daily
REQUIREMENTS
Education:
AA degree preferred
Experience:
5-7 years of maintenance experience
Licenses/Certifications:
Full Maryland Driver's license and good driving record
REQUIREMENTS
Formal working knowledge; equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college); requires knowledge of a specialized field. 5 years experience as a PM Mechanic, maintenance mechanic, or three years experience in a mechanical trade such as HVAC, pipe fitting, engineering, etc. Valid Maryland Driver's license. Exerts up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently to move objects.
