Whether working on powertrains, electrical systems, or performing routine maintenance, you'll play a key role in ensuring our customers' vehicles operate safely and efficiently. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately and efficiently. Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, and steering. Utilize schematics and technical manuals to interpret wiring diagrams and mechanical layouts for precise repairs. Service vehicles with tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, alignments, and brake replacements to ensure optimal performance. Repair or replace components related to ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), ensuring proper calibration for safety features. Execute diesel engine repairs and powertrain work on GM vehicles or similar models with precision and attention to detail. Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized automotive repair tools safely and effectively. Perform wheel alignments to improve vehicle handling and tire longevity while adhering to manufacturer specifications. Maintain detailed service records, complete auto estimating tasks accurately, and communicate repair findings clearly to customers. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and quality control procedures while delivering excellent customer service. Requirements Proven dealership experience or equivalent service technician experience demonstrating strong automotive repair skills. Extensive knowledge of automotive electrical systems, schematics interpretation, and diagnostics tools. Hands-on experience with ADAS calibration, transmissions repair, diesel engine maintenance, and powertrain servicing. Mechanical knowledge combined with proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic software. Familiarity with vehicle maintenance procedures including oil changes, brake repairs, wheel alignments, and general auto service tasks. Ability to read technical manuals and schematics accurately for complex repairs. Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients. Experience working on GM vehicles or similar makes is preferred but not mandatory. Certification in automotive repair or relevant technical training is highly valued.
