Job Description

Automotive Service Advisor Mighty Motors is looking for an experienced Service Advisor to join our team! As a Service Advisor, you will own our customers' experience in the service lane. You are the first point of contact with our customers and will be well-versed in product and service offerings, technician scheduling, and customer service. From greeting vehicle owners on the drive lane to explaining the repair process, our Service Advisors are professionals who enjoy helping others. Both strong automotive knowledge and a successful customer service background are a must.
Responsibilities:
Schedule appointments, greet customers, and document their concerns and comments. Write service repair orders and minor estimates with descriptions of problems, neededmaintenance, and repairs. Inspect vehicle and check for additional service needs Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of the cost of labor and parts Explain repairs to customers and review service history Schedule appointments and communicate with customers regarding the status of theirvehicles. Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, updating customers regularly Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs Verify final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order Understand and comply with Motor Vehicle Service and Repair Act requirements Follow up with customers and test-drive vehicles to confirm service repairs Handle customer complaints making sure to keep our customers satisfied Provide the highest levels of customer service to retain dealership clientele Maintain accurate records of each customer interaction and transactions Process payments and handle financial transactions
Service Advisor Qualifications:
Service advisor/writer experience required Must be reliable and able to provide outstanding customer service Professional appearance and attitude required Time management skills. Ability to multitask and stay focused in a fast-paced environment Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar role preferred Knowledge of engine repair, shocks struts, oil change, auto body repair, transmission, brakerepair, alignment, tire service, suspension, and air brake systems is highly desirable Strong communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and willing to submit to a pre-employmentbackground check All other duties as assigned
