Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on mechanical systems including transmissions, powertrains, suspensions, shocks & struts, brakes, and steering components. Service and maintain vehicles through oil changes, tire rotations, wheel alignments, and tire service to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Follow dealership or industry standards for vehicle maintenance and repair procedures while maintaining detailed service records. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and offering recommendations for ongoing vehicle care. Experience Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with a focus on independent shop environments. Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics software and schematics for efficient troubleshooting. Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems including transmissions, powertrain, suspension, brakes, and electrical systems. Experience working with GM, Ford, Dodge vehicles or similar makes is a plus but not required.
