We specialize in replacement parts and performance upgrades for modern performance vehicles, and high-quality engine rebuilding/refurbishment. Position Summary We are looking for an experienced Engine Technician / Engine Builder to join our team. You will be responsible for tearing down used engines, thoroughly cleaning and processing parts, refurbishing engines to high standards and preparing units for shipment to customers. Also refurbishing select engine parts for resale. This role demands strong mechanical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while prioritizing orders efficiently. Key Responsibilities Tear down old engines and process/wash all components Inspect, repair, configure, and fully refurbish used engines Diagnose issues and perform high-quality engine repairs and builds Install high performance parts and upgrades Sandblasting, powder coating, and parts finishing Prepare engines for safe shipment to customers Maintain a clean and organized workspace Fill customer orders independently with strong attention to detail and prioritization Qualifications & Experience Minimum 3 years of professional mechanic experience (engine repair/building preferred) Strong experience diagnosing, repairing, and preferably building engines Very mechanically inclined with excellent attention to detail Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage workflow Experience with high performance or racing engines is a big plus Additional skills such as wiring/electrical, welding, machining, or fabricating are valued Oil change or tire technician experience alone is not sufficient for this role What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience and skill level (wide range available for the right candidate) Full-time, day shift mon-fri, steady work with flexible hours Relaxed and fun shop environment Opportunity to work on high-performance vehicles and engines

Valid Driver's License ASE Certification or Michigan Mechanic Certification (Preferred)
