Candidates that are currently attending higher education, college or trade school with an automotive curriculum would be a terrific match. Our aggressive career training path will have the right individual earning top dollar in a short period of time. Our parts and service teams are set up with proven processes that enable our teams to become successful. Prospective candidate should have excellent attention to detail, organized and willing to learn. Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, punctual and have their own tools to perform the everyday responsibilities of a lube tech. Experience preferred, not necessary, we will train the right candidate that shows the desire to become a full lead mechanic. Lube Tech Career Path Step One Work in our Quick Lube department Perform oil changes and tire rotations Repair passenger car and light truck tires Install, mount and balance passenger car and light truck tire Brake system inspections Learn proper steering and suspension inspections Perform alignment check using Hunter Hawk Eye equipment Learn proper under body inspections Lean appropriate maintenance intervals Preparing additional repair estimates Recommending future maintenance needs After six months of service tuition assistance will be considered Step Two Work in our Lead Technician department Job shadow a Lincoln Master or Senior Master Technician Access to 11 company paid training categories Gasoline engine performance Gasoline engine repair Steering and suspension Electrical systems Climate control systems Manual transmission and drivetrain Automatic transmission Brakes Electronic systems Diesel engine performance Diesel engine repair Learn proper diagnostic routines Learn proper repair techniques Step Three Perform diagnostic routines Perform supervised repairs Quality check repairs Follow proper state and company repair documentation Document complete diagnostic findings and repairs Assistance with state certifications Assistance with Lincoln repair category certifications Benefits Health care available Dental care available Vision care available Paid holidays Paid time off Performance bonus 401 (k) plan available Paid training Various monetary contests Compensation Hourly pay Flat rate
