Quick Lube Technician Team Leader Kool Toyota - Grand Rapids, MI Full-Time | $22/hour, based on experience | Benefits Available Kool Toyota is looking for an experienced Quick Lube Technician Team Leader to join our service team. This is a hands-on position for an experienced technician who is comfortable performing maintenance and light repair work while helping guide and support the Quick Lube team. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of automotive service experience , holds brake and suspension certification , and is ready to take on a leadership role in a busy dealership environment. Responsibilities Perform oil changes, tire rotations, fluid services, filters, and other routine maintenance Perform brake and suspension inspections, diagnosis, and repairs Complete multi-point vehicle inspections and identify needed maintenance or repairs Help lead the day-to-day workflow of the Quick Lube team Assist and support Quick Lube technicians with questions, repairs, and procedures Help ensure work is completed efficiently and accurately Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Follow dealership and manufacturer service procedures Communicate vehicle concerns and recommended repairs to the appropriate service personnel Help maintain a positive, productive team environment Qualifications Minimum 2 years of automotive technician/service experience required Brake and suspension certification required Experience performing routine maintenance, brake work, and suspension repairs Strong mechanical ability and attention to detail Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced shop Dependable with a strong work ethic Good communication and teamwork skills Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Compensation & Benefits $22/hour, based on experience Full-time position Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off 401(k) Employee discounts Paid training and opportunities for advancement Stable, year-round work in a dealership environment Join the Kool Toyota Team If you're an experienced technician who enjoys working with a team and is ready to take the next step into a leadership position, we'd like to hear from you.
