AUTOMOTIVE DISMANTLER

Duties Safely dismantle vehicles using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to remove engines, transmissions, body panels, and other components Identify and extract valuable auto parts for resale or recycling purposes while maintaining quality standards Use mechanical knowledge to assess vehicle condition and determine the best disassembly approach Perform heavy lifting tasks safely to move large vehicle parts and assemblies during the dismantling process Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency during operations Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks as needed, supporting overall auto restoration efforts Follow all safety protocols and procedures related to auto body repair, auto service, and heavy equipment operation Experience Proven mechanic experience or automotive repair background with hands-on familiarity with vehicle systems Mechanical knowledge of auto body repair, vehicle maintenance, and auto restoration processes Experience using hand tools, power tools, and specialized automotive equipment effectively Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly Knowledge of automotive service standards and safety regulations in a dismantling environment Prior experience in auto salvage yards or vehicle recycling facilities is a plus but not required Embark on a rewarding career where your skills make a tangible impact!
