3rdShift Description:
As a member of the paint team, a Prep Tech is tasked with various duties that assist in preparing a vehicle by sanding. It is preferred that a Prep Tech/Painter's Helper have a basic understanding of automotive paint principals and a basic knowledge of different paint products.Essential Job Functions:
Inspect parts for paint defectsPrepare vehicles and parts for the masking teamSanding vehicle or parts using proper equipment to prepare it for paint process.Assist maskers and painters with all prep related items.
