Total Fleet Mobile Technician

AIS Construction Equipment is the oldest Michigan-owned and operated heavy equipment company in the state, proudly serving customers for over 65 years. We are currently seeking full-time Service Technicians across multiple branches to join our team. Position Overview Our Total Fleet Technicians perform on-site diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs for a wide range of customer equipment. This role involves working directly at customer locations/job sites and operating a company-provided service truck throughout the state of Michigan (with the potential to take the truck home). Responsibilities Diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, engine, driveline, and HVAC systems Service heavy-duty and light-duty trucks/trailers, generators, and construction equipment Maintain and support customer fleets, including large operations with 1,000+ pieces of equipment Complete all work at customer job sites with a focus on efficiency and quality Safely operate and maintain a company service truck Requirements 18 years of age or older High school diploma or GED required Valid driver's license Heavy equipment repair training or equivalent hands-on experience Ability to safely use tools and perform tasks involving grasping, lifting, turning, and pulling Comfortable working on uneven terrain, climbing on/off equipment, and working at heights Ability to work in environments with noise, fumes, and around heavy/moving machinery Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and sit for extended periods Must pass a background check and drug screening Benefits 401(k) with generous employer match Medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage Paid vacation, holidays, and sick time Advancement opportunities from within Company-provided uniforms Quarterly bonus opportunities Paid training led by factory-certified AIS instructors Annual company Christmas party and team-building events Company apparel and promotional gear
