Okemos, MI 48864 Position Overview As an Automotive Service Technician, you will perform vehicle repair and maintenance in accordance with dealership and factory standards. We welcome technicians, trainees, and apprentices to join our team and benefit from on-the-job training and advancement opportunities. Key Responsibilities Receive and process repair orders from the dispatcher efficiently and accurately. Diagnose vehicle malfunctions and perform authorized repairs. Communicate with the Parts Department to obtain necessary components. Tag, save, and turn in parts for warranty or customer requests. Notify service advisors promptly if additional repairs are necessary or if work cannot be completed as scheduled. Document all work performed clearly and thoroughly. Conduct road tests to ensure repairs resolve customer issues. Perform quality checks on completed work. Attend training sessions and stay current with factory technical bulletins. Maintain cleanliness of customers' vehicles during service. Adhere to safety, housekeeping, and regulatory policies and procedures. Physical Requirements Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl occasionally. Frequent lifting or moving of up to 25 pounds; occasional lifting up to 100 pounds. High school diploma or GED. Ability to read and comprehend instructions and technical information. Excellent communication skills and professional personal appearance. Adherence to company production and quality standards. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. Commitment to customer satisfaction and teamwork. Understanding and following lawful directions, work rules, and confidentiality policies.
