Qualified Automotive Mechanic

Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics on vehicles using state-of-the-art automotive diagnostic equipment to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, and steering components. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems effectively. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive repair tools to complete repairs efficiently. Perform routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid replacements, and inspections to uphold manufacturer standards. Document all repairs thoroughly in accordance with dealership or shop procedures and communicate findings clearly to customers when necessary. Repair Services for Cars, Trucks, RV's, Heavy Duty Truck, and Forklifts. Qualifications Proven dealership or service shop experience as an automotive mechanic with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair. Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems including powertrains, transmissions, diesel engines, and automotive electrical systems. Hands-on experience with auto estimating software and familiarity with GM vehicles is a plus. Skilled in using schematics, diagnostic tools, power tools, hand tools, and welding equipment for complex repairs. Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients. Valid mechanic certification or equivalent technical training; ASE certification is preferred. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
